Adding your picture is a great way of introducing yourself to voters and adding interest to the card. To print quality photos, use a high resolution digital photograph at a minimum of 300 dpi. You can find out the quality by right clicking on an image file and checking the properties, or have someone scan it in at 300 dpi. Using a photo that does not meet these standards could result in your photo being distorted, or fuzzy, hindering the professionalism of your campaign materials.
At RUNandWIN.com, we want you to have the best quality palm card. A head shot is common and is a good photo. These shots are typically taken from much closer and tighter than a snapshot. However, using photos of you in action say more. Use photos of you with children, senior citizens, etc. to express campaign themes.
A good election photo will leave the voter with a positive image of you as a candidate and future elected official. Remember the adage, "a picture says a thousand words." |
